Fun with Plastic!

I photograph with several plastic cameras. They are often called toy cameras. I use Dianas, Holgas and Jamcams.
Diana cameras were sold as dime store novelties, given away as boardwalk prizes or gas station premiums. When they were used as teaching tools in the 1970s, many found their way into the hands of some very creative photographers.
By the time they had become popularized amongst many art photographers, they were becoming hard to find. The Holga came to be the modern Diana. The Holga exhibits a similar vignetting characteristic in the corners, soft focus and penchant for light leaks.
The KB Gear Jamcam was a low end digital camera. It shares some of the same features as the low end film Diana and Holga. Few controls and a soft focus and vignetting reminiscent of the plastic cameras.
I carry one or two of these cameras where ever I go.
