Lightleaks Magazine Article: A Shot in the Dark
I wrote an article for Lightleaks magazine on doing night photography with a Holga. It's in the current issue #18. If you see it on the newstands, check it out or order it online from Lightleaks.org!

I found this Ansco 1045 35mm camera at my local Goodwill store for $2.
It is a simple 35mm camera with 1 shutter setting, 2 apertures, a fixed focus 38mm/f5.6 lens, built-in flash. I am loading an expired roll of Fujicolor SuperHQ to test it out.
I've been busy in the past couple of weeks.
New videos for Polaroid cameras:

I've also uploaded a Film Loading video for a vintage 120 film Ansco ShurFlash box camera.

And for those of you who have been asking, I'm still working on the Polaroid Battery Mod video for the Polaroid packfilm folding cameras. I thought I'd be able to upload the video this week, but have run into a production problem that I can't edit out. I will probably have to reshoot part of it, and this is a problem since I gave up my studio space. I'll hope to be able to reshoot in the next few weeks, and will then complete the video. An SX-70 shot of the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, circa 2000. I was experimenting with trying to alter the lens of a Polaroid OneStep camera for more lo-fi effect. I can't remember what exactly I did with this lens, but it involved boiling, baking and heating the lens in a frying pan to try and distort it. I had limited success with the process.
While in Irvine, California, I found a 1-hour lab that not only does 35mm film processing, but also does 120 film processing. I had 1 roll of 35mm film processed, scanned and put on CD. A small index print of the images on the CD was a nice touch that I don't get with my local lab. Check their website for current pricing.
